SHOLA SHACK

Wayanad district located in the North East of Kerala, India, is a land of mountains, forests, valleys and plains. Derived from two words Vayal (Paddy) and Naad (Land), Wayanad is in total the 'Land Of Paddy Fields'.

Spend your holidays or weekends in a healthy way with a walk in the evergreen woods of Wayanad. Just sit back and soak in the wilderness and the show of nature. The base of the Shola Shack is just next to the Wayanad Wildlife Santuary, on a few acres of Shola Grassland and a patch of Shola forest on the rolling hills of the Western Ghats in Wayanad.

Giving a new way of thinking, a holiday with the Shola Shack gives the visitors a chance to appreciate the local flora and fauna and also to be a part of an experiment, which redefines the meaning of a community living in harmony with nature. The apt location of this resort gives one the chance to connect them with nature.

Started off on an experimental basis the good feedback of the guests ensures that the service of this resort continues on for a longer run. Here it is the best example of nature mingling with humans and offering an exotic feel and memory.
